Dear Dancers:
Here is a list of frequently asked questions we have received regarding Auditions this Saturday:
 
1.  What is the commitment to TDC?
There are several opportunities in store for TDC Dancers, which is why we are expanding our existing dance teams and adding additional teams.  Every opportunity will be presented to every dancer, however only a certain number will be able to perform depending upon the event.  Additionally, if you cannot make rehearsals or need time off, you have the ability to pass on that event.  In other words,  you only perform when you want to perform throughout the summer or the year!  No contracts.
 
 
2.  Is there a limit to the number of positions I can audition for?
No.  Audition for as many positions as you like.
Choreographer auditions will take place first.  There will be 1 hip hop audition (no need to audition separately for both hip hop teams), and 1 lyrical audition (for the liturgical team).  Choreographers must compose their own piece up to 2 minutes in length to audition with.  Dancers will learn a short piece to audition with.
 
 
3.  I don't have internet access.  Is there another way to register?

4.  Before I audition and commit, I'd like to know what days/times rehearsals take place?
In the past, we have rehearsed on Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings, however days/times/locations vary depending upon the event and dance team. 
 
 
5.  I am interested in auditioning, but I'm only 17 years old.  Any positions for me?
Sixteen year-old Choreographers may audition if they will turn 17 this year.  Seventeen year-old Dancers may audition if they will turn 18 this year.  Please bring photo ID.
 
 
6.  I want to audition, but I wont be available on May 6th.  What can I do?
Contact the Director directly and she will try to accomodate you by setting up a separate audition.  However, there is NO guarantee an additional audition will be scheduled.  Try your best to make it this Saturday!
